Before opening his law practice, Steve Lopez worked for over 15 years in the Southern California electronic industry with such companies as Lucent Technologies, Northrop Grumman Space Technology and Avrio Technologies as an electrical engineer. He attended the California State University, Long beach obtaining his Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1993. Attending University of West Los Angeles School of Law, he graduated in 1998 after having served on the school’s Moot Court and Law Review

Mr. Lopez is authorized to practice in both federal and state court and has concluded more than fifty state and federal, jury and court trials to verdict, involving business disputes, divorce, real estate, probate, elder abuse, bankruptcy adversary proceedings and deportation.

In addition being a lawyer and engineer Mr. Lopez has experience as an entrepreneur. He has been involved in a wide variety of business ventures, including solar energy, e-commerce, fiber optic communications, and financial services. Mr. Lopez has also served as Corporate Counsel for PerfumeOutlet.net. and UltraFragrances.com In addition, Mr. Lopez is a regular legal contributing columnist for The Downey Patriot Newspaper writing on consumer topics and is a Board of Director for the Downey Chamber of Commerce.
